either the makeup's really bad, or they were actually, really, not that good looking... cos the looks really can't compensate that desperate lack of talent. well, i'm talking about the singapore star search, honeybunch... i better be clear, else i'll forget what i'm talking about when i read back in future. those contestants are a bad case of catastrophe. i thought, well, they all look decent enough (meaning unlike criminals) but really typical. nothing special. in fact, they aren't even the kind of people i'll see on the train and go, "hey, he/she looks good..." and their talent is zer0. emphasis is on the zero. they can't act, nevermind. they don't sing very well (unless you like the sound of fork and knife on plate, or fingernails down blackboard), nevermind too. the thing is, they can't even talk fluently, they can't even raise their arms and sway a little without looking like a retard trying to imitate professional dance steps. as a matter of fact, you know what? i could look at a down syndrome trying to live life normally and feel sympathy and understanding towards him, but i can't tolerate watching these people trying to do anything they were attempting just now... they're real failures... who were those people doind the cheering?
