it's wednesday!!! hahaha, guess what it means? it's thursday tomorrow!!! hee, it's gonna be a 2 hour special. they're stull gonna cut many parts out, but it's still better than nothing nevertheless... always look on the bright side of life... confirm that they'll be singing neil sedaka songs. but that's not all! they're singing 2 songs each! yeah! though i'd be happier if josh didn't even sing one song... hai, wonder who'll be eliminated. frankly i don't really care as long as it's not clay. but i do know hot to differentiate between good and evil. so i'm really looking forward to the day josh gets eliminated. he's fooled around enough on american idol already. i admit "i'll be" was really good and i WAS impressed. but that's all, the very next time i heard him, my glasses just broke. how DARE he sing the same song as ruben and sing it THAT badly? that was it. the following NG performances plus my biasness made me super irritated by him. by all logic he should be out by tomorrow. but america always get's it wrong... julia shouldn't have got out, rickey couldn't have even gone that time. not to mention kim c. "celebration" should have at least gotten josh into the bottom 3. but i doubt he'll go tmr. he's only just landed in the bottom 3 for the first time, he's humongous crazy fan base must be voting like hell, so he probably ain't gonna go just yet. this makes me worried for trenyce. she's been visiting the bottom 3 ever since the smoking gun digged out her past. not as often as kim locke though, but kim locke has gotten really powerful these weeks, she'll be pretty safe. i refuse to believe anything's gonna happen to clay or ruben. so it's either trenyce or josh. pls let it be josh! let him go! i'm really sick of this... patriotic votes + sympathy votes + blind votes. huh?
and i'm really sick of those morons out there who keep accusing clay of being gay. what the hell is wrong with them? it's really getting onto my nerves... what's their problem? ok, even if they believe he is gay, what's that got to do with them? the first person who should be worried ought to be josh's wife for heaven's sake cos clay is josh's roomate. so what the heck? whole bunch of idiots.
let's not spoil my mood. me looking forward to tomorrow! yeah!

it's tuesday. two more days to thursday, then i can watch american idol again! =)
dunno if it's really going to be neil sedaka night... i think that would be great though. but it doesn't matter if he's only the guest judge, though i really hope to hear his songs! he's one of my favourite singers! me love "little devil", "laughter in the rain", "oh carol", ok, i'm not sure if i'm getting them right, but, the point is i like it if he's singing it! haha!
downloaded "on the wings of love" finally! it's SOOOOooo nice! i like it a lot... having listened to that, i'm not going to take anymore nonsense from simon about clay having a broadway type of voice. because even though it is kind of 'broadway'-ish, he's still got a recording voice nevertheless. when he controls his voice it sounds great over the speaker/ earphones. i heard julia demato too, and i still think she's got the nicest voice... i love her voice, why couldn't she stay longer in the competition? hai... kim c sounded a little weird, maybe we're usually distracted by her performances, but nevermind, i think it's just the song... heard corey, and i prefer not to comment on him. i can't possibly say anything if i first heard clay singing "open arms", and clay sang it very well. so... sshhh... alright, sugarpie opened josh's song too, out of "morbid curiosity" (quote her...) and i can't remember how it was. that's good news, meaning it wasn't too bad. the rest i didn't even bother to try. i dare not open carmen's, maybe i will when i got the guts sometime. i didn't really want to listen to ruben's "superstar" again, i'm really, really sick of it. oh yes, i heard trenyce's too, and it sounded absolutely dreadful compared to her wildcards performance. it wasn't nice AT ALL. maybe i'm already biased, but i still think among those i heard, clay sounded the best. hee!~
but then i don't know if clay can win this competition... of course i'm making the assumption people KNOW how to vote and the final/top 2 are clay and ruben. you see, clay is always seen as too 'broadway'-ish, but ruben has got a great recording voice. i mean, personally i think clay also has a very nice recording voice when he's controlling it and not over emphasing the words that start with vowels. further, people either love ruben or have nothing against him. as for clay, people either love him and go all crazy over him, or the others simply detest him. they pick on his style, his clothes, his ears, they can even go on to saying he's gay, whatever... so when it comes down to these two, i think clay's fans would vote like crazy, so will ruben's fans. but the thing is that those who don't mind ruben will also vote for him, and the people who hate clay (i presume they're pure jealous, ok? hee!) will also vote for ruben simply because they don't like clay. so how? tsk tsk... if only the clay can pull over the fans of those contestants who already got eliminated. which i think can't really be depended on either cos many of those who got eliminated say that they personally think ruben should win the competition. how's clay going to handle this?! i'm getting pretty worried... but i would be happy enough if clay and ruben are in the top 2. as long as that's the way things are, i'll be pleased already!

i love this week's american idol!!!
kimberley locke up first. she was good, i mean GOOD... the last note was chilling, was amazing, was impressive... but still, it didn't blow me away, unlike her "band of gold". i guess that's why i don't get all high over her performances although she's a strong contestant. lack of an appealing personality that will earn her constant fan support. the closest she got was telling simon that he sucked. but then that offended some people too, though simon was the last person to get offended by that. another thing, she hasn't had one performance as good as "band of gold", so somehow she hasn't met my expectation of her (which happens to be set by herself, ironically). plenty of room for improvement, but i'm secretly hoping she won't be a threat to clay and ruben... don't mind her nevertheless...
CLAY!!! i dunno why i would want to watch the whole show when i only want to watch him!... it was a brilliant performance, my goodness... it was a different kind of song, different kind of voice. but yet, it still preserved his personality and style. it sounded a little country in the beginning (just a WEE bit), his voice was controlled and sounded soothing. that kind that would be a perfect recording voice. now THAT'S versatility. some people were complaining about his voice being controlled, but i'm totally convinced they're just picking on him. if he controls it they don't like it, otherwise they'll be complaining that he sounds too 'broadway'. what's wrong with them? not my business though. i thought it was a perfect flawless performance. as i watch his performance week after week, i compare with the other contestants' performances, i realized one thing. on top of being the only one with RANGE, he's the only one with totally NO PITCH PROBLEMS. not even a hint, a trace of it. you migh be saying ruben has none too, but i did notice a little but of shakiness when he sings the lower parts of the songs. really, clay's the only one with no such problems. perfect. wan2 mei3.
think trenyce was next. frankly.... i don't remember her performance. i remember it as being nice, pretty, no obvious pitch problems, fine... but i remember what simon said, and i'm really impressed by simon's comments. he's really very experienced at this sort of stuff. as he said that, i realized... yeah, i don't know how trenyce is like... she looks nice and sweet all the time, but not much of her actual personality is shown. as a celebrity that would be good, won't cause any trouble for herself. but as a contestant, i really think showing some of her own personality would be of advantage to her. i like her anyway. =)
who's next? carmen or josh? nevermind who, both were bad. but josh won hands down. i was just saying pianoman was good, and now, BHAM! what kind of performance is this? let's talk about carmen first. it didn't sound good, it was painful to hear and the song sounded wrose than ever when she sang it. she's a very pretty girl, i like looking at her, but she doesn't look as good when she sing. of course she doesn't look as constipated as josh when she sings, but it still looks kinda weird. nevermind that, the singing was awful. ok. josh. what is he up to? wasn't that a song of special meaning to him? how can he screw it up that badly? like randy said, it was sharp the whole song. he didn't go out of tune, he was just on a totally different key! i already heard something weird when they showed the pre-performance clip when he was practising with the piano. it sounded like 2 different keys. was that on purpose? was it supposed to sound nice? it was really, really disgusting. josh and carmen -- they have more poor performances than strong ones, always so inconsistent. that's why i don't think the two of them belong to the final 6. which is also why i was super duper high and happy when both of tham nabbed the bottom 2. yeah!
ruben tried a new kind of song. but sounded the same nevertheless. a bit like "baby i need your lovin". you know, a lot of OOOUUUUUUOOOOOOUuuuooooooooouuuuuuu throughout the song. a lot of background singing. mic looked really skinny. ok. ok. i still prefer his usual stlye though it wasn't very refreshing. but really, i wasn't impressed. maybe it's because he's alwasy so good consistent, so i'm expecting a lot from him. but i think as an individual he's among the best in the competition. he and clay are of the same standard-- HIGH UP there. ruben is consistently good, clay's is fluctuating a little about the same level (axis). the difference is, over the past 2 weeks, clay's standard is increasing at a tremendous rate. it's getting much much better, and there's still room for improvement. he seems to know what people are talking about him on the internet, and he IS listening to them. he's making the right changes, and the result, as you can see, is GREAT. ruben listened too, and ditched that 205 shirt. maybe nobody gave any constructive criticism (except simon) cos they couldn't find anything about him that they can pick on. well, i have my own views...
anyway, i'm really glad carmen's out and josh was in the bottom 2. based on ALL the perfromances so far and the room for improvement, josh ought to go next. bye bye.

headache... after four papers in one week, i'm really, really tired... another week before the next paper, then my exams will be over! well, i should be looking forward to it, but i'm too tired to be happy over it... but i'm happy over thursday's american idol though! so... i'll devote the next post to it! as usual... nah, i just dun wanna mix up the stuff together... anyway, today i received an email from school. stupid... well a professor from the business school just passed away, but they don't know the cause of his death. i really hope it's not SARS, but frankly speaking... hai, the school doesn't care about the safety of the students anyway, so this really isn't gonna work out either way... my headache... ouch...

aahhh!!!! i can't take it any longer... today's thursday, so i'll get to watch clay again tonight.... heard that he'll be wearing a leather suit! wow! he used to wear only the same kind of shirts, guess he feels most comfortable in it. i don't really mind it, but too much of it will be boring... need more xin1 xian1 gan3! it's gonna be diane warren night, but i don't know what songs she sang. nevermind about that, i know i'll like it anyway. as always! hope carmen goes.... she's getting worse and worse. i mean yeah she looks pretty and cute, blah blah. but it ain't saving her from being condemned by everybody. i don't hate her, but i don't like her to take the place that rightfully belongs to some better people. i can't think f anyone more deserving to GO in the remaining six. i know i can go and check the website for the results, it should be out by now. but it'll spoil the fun... josh should go too, talent wise he's not very impressive. but he's a marine, what to do? people enjoy keeping him there for that status. at least he has 2 good performances. carmen hasn't had one really good performance. even her best is worse than the worst performances of some others. ok, let's not go into it. i miss listening to julia demato, she's got such a great voice. it's really unique. too bad... ok, time to study for my general biology. i hate this module. i think i'm gonna screw it up. hope i can finish studying what i have to in the day. then i can enjoy myself tonight, watching american idol!!!

haha! i jus stumbled across this interview transcript of simon. got it at claytonaiken forum. now that sugarpie mentioned, wonder if i should register... i was so tempted just now, really. somebody was saying why simon asked vanessa oliveraz and josh gracin to "lose a few pounds" but not to (quote) "obese ruben". ouch! the word obese seems to have a negative connotation. i think ruben's size is working FOR him, makes him cute and cuddly == velvet teddy bear! haha, tha's his trademark... ayway, when i saw this post, i was so tempted to say "apparently because he CAN'T..." really! i said that a long time ago. simon can say that to anybody BUT ruben. anyway, just to share, here's the transcript:
Jay: Now Corey Clark is the only one that got pretty close. Could he have made it, had he not.... ?
Simon: Not in a million years. [laughs]
(some audience boos)
Jay: (jokingly to audience) Oh boo, he beat up his sister. Shut up!
(audience laughs)
Simon: Allegedly. I mean I don't know, but he wouldn't have won. [shakes head] He is gonna leave either this week or next week, so he has an early exit, so what?
Jay: How does this work on American Idol, in those terms? If you get arrested, you can't be on? I mean, cos, look at the music industry. Fifty-cent (who?) get shot like 9 times.... like on a Tuesday. So I mean....
Simon: Well, it's a difficult.... I, I don't make the decisions. Umm, but, they are asked to confess these stuff at the beginning. He got away with it, cos on the police record, they spelled his name wrong, that's why he got through. Otherwise he wouldn't have been there.
Jay: Oh, okay.... now how about you? Have you ever been arrested?
Simon: Yes.
Jay: Really? What were you arrested for?
Simon: You want me to tell you? [raise eyebrow, and smirk to audience] You really want to know?
(audience cheers)
Simon: Okay, when I was twelve years old.... I hijacked the bus, with a pea-gun.
Jay: A pea-gun? You mean like a water-gun?
Simon: It's a gun that fires peas. They go about 6 feet.
Jay: Only in England that you would have guns that fires peas.
Simon: Yea exactly. It was a toy. Myself and a friend, we're going on the bus, and we thought it'd be a joke to put the gun on the driver's head, and tell him to take us to where we were going..... He believed us. And I remember sitting on the bus thinking, "god this guy is really playing along this well because he didn't stop for 20 miles.".... and we got to the other end, and there were some police cars waiting for us, and they throw us in jail.
Jay: Wow. Now how did your parents reacted to this? I mean, you gotta be pretty dumb to hijack a bus. [left hand in gun gesture, mocking: "Take us to America!"]
(all laughs)
Simon: Well, I realized we are going to be in trouble. Because they brought down, umm you know, Scotland yard. (me: where? ok now I could have heard that wrong.) Where do the 12-year old get the guns? And these guys walked into the cell where we were sitting, and they said, "Where did you get the gun?" .... And I said to them, "They are pea-guns." ... [mocking jailmate reaction: yea right!].... so my mum turns up with my dad, and she had me pick stones in the farm for a week as a punishment.
Jay: Picking up stones at the farm for a week? Well that's not too bad.
Simon: If the producers have found out, I wouldn't be a judge on American Idol. So there you go.
(audience laughs)
Jay: Well, let me ask you about last Tuesday. You appeared to be especially cranky. Were you in a bad mood last Tuesday?
Simon: Umm, well you know, for me it's different than the other 2 judges, because there are a lot of that afterwards. You know, it's..... it's a serious thing. The winner, I got to invest 3 million dollars (me: bullshit!) of my money into the record label, and I just thought they weren't very good..... .... So I told them.
Jay: When was disco night, was this the other night?
Simon: That was this week...
Jay: This Tuesday?
Simon: Yea....and the week before was even worse, we did country rock. What do I know about country rock.
Jay: So you don't like country?
Simon: I hate it.
(audience cheers)
Simon: No, I do. I loathe it. .... and the first guy comes out in a cowboy shirt and a cowboy hat and sings this song. He might as well be singing Lithuianian Opera for all I know. I mean, it was just ... (hand gesture signaling "way over my head") ... whoosh. Terrible.
Jay: We put a little tape together.... some of the bitchier moments.

Simon: They ask to insult them. And then when I do, they cry.

Simon: No, I'm serious. One girl actually begged me to insult her. But when I told her, her hair was appalling, she burst into tears. So I ask, "So why did you ask me to insult you then?" (me: who is this moron?)

Jay: Now you're doing a kid's version?
Simon: I'm not.
Jay: They are doing a kid's version of American Idol.
Simon: Yes.
Jay: You don't want to be involved in that?
Simon: No.
Jay: You don't like humiliating a child? That's right up your alley.
Simon: I love to. [big smile] LOVE TO! I mean... I'm sure it would do really well, the idea of me having to sit through kids tempeting to sing. I'd rather listen to fingers going down the blackboard. But that's just me. I don't think they could sing under the age of 16. And umm, I'd put a government health warning on it.
Jay: Really?
Simon: I would, just like cigarettes. Anyone under the age of 16 shouldn't be allowed to sing. (me: WTF?)
Jay: Really? wow.
Simon: Truthfully. Yea, truthfully.
Jay: (points into audience and said to Simon) ... Somebody's hissing.
Simon: (talks to audience) But they can't, can they?
Jay: Are you looking forward to this Justin & Kelly movie? Do you know about this movie?
Simon: [smirk] Well, I got a bit confused when I heard the title... it sounded a bit like an Ed Wood Transvestite movie. It's called From Justin to Kelly. [laughs] ... and I was thinking, okay, where are you going with this? Um, but I've already seen a few bits and pieces, it's gonne be fun... I mean.... [very smug] well you know.... (me: BWAHAHAHAHA!)
Jay: It would be fun.
Simon: Yea. [still very smug; and holding both thumbs up.] Two thumbs up! (me: oh I bet he's dying inside. HAHA!)
Jay: So, who's gonna win this year? Are you allowed to say? Can you pick a favorite.... who do you like so far?
Simon: Well, if I was going on Tuesday's show, I would have to say Ruben.
(audience cheers, some boos)
Simon: (looks at audience) But if I also say Clay, you're also gonna cheer.

Simon: .... only not so much. (ouch! poor Clay)
Jay: So Ruben is your choice?
Simon: Um, yeah. I mean, it changes from week to week, Jay. But I thought based on what I saw last Tuesday... I mean, you know.... Clay - great singer, Ruben - great singer.... one is a pop star.
Jay: Okay, you got it. Thanks Simon. [shakes Simon's hand, then looks at audience/camera.]

watched american idol yesterday, HIGH!!! it was billy joel night, but billy joel wasn't the guest judge, instead they got smokey robinson. well, he looks like... sorry but... i think he kinda looks like a red indian, you know that kind that we see in cartoons... anyway, they showed some clips of him when he was young. now i know... remember dozier said that corey looks "like a young and rising smokey robinson"? he sure does... anyway, the songs wre quite ok generally. i didn't really know billy joel's songs, but the tunes are apparently quite alright, not bad...
kimberly caldwell was... quite ok... the song could be high, but she somehow didn't create that atmosphere, and she was a little off pitch at certain times. but it sounded quite ok on the whole, so i really don't understand why she got eliminated. ESPECIALLY when carmen was ultimate worst. carmen usually looked cute and pretty, and when she dances around on the stage, blah blah, it can cover her not-so-good voice and pitch problems, so i won't mind her staying on the competition. but, this week... she was awful. the song wasn't great in the first place, the dress was terrible on her, the makeup wasn't good, and her voice was a torture to the ears. PLUS, she was just standing there, stationary with the mic, and it just brought out th worst possible in her. my goodness... i have no idea how the people can betray the conscience and sense of hearing to vote for her. disgusting.
well, bottom three anyway... trenyce sounded ok, song stunk (to me, first time round. maybe will sound better in time), not-nice performance. she just didn't shine. so i think it's justified for her to be in the bottom three. kimberley locke was good, looked great, good overall performance. josh sounded good to me for the first time in several weeks. i think i don't mind him when he sheds that pseudo-country voice. he's got a good voice in the first place, but it all screws up when he pretends to be country. not mentioning that he looks weird and distorted when he sings. but he doesn't stand there awkwardly at least. ok.
ruuuuuben! as usual, he sounds good, he's got his own style (which is starting to bore me a lil, but no worry cos simon said that on my behalf. thanks simon!) and he got the best song. unfortunately i dunno why, he sounds pretty weird and unnatural when he ssang the lower parts of the song. he's smooth with the higher parts, but definitely should avoid the low parts... the performance was ok, though this time i didn't start swaying to his song like i usually do. so none of them blew me away. which brings me to...
CLAY!~ hahaha... he really took my breath away. new clothes, new song, change in tempo was brilliant (credits to lighting) and he really can sing; he's got the range. i simply adore him. he is really the best to me...
conclusion:
ruben: best at creating atmosphere
carmen: best at sounding worst, unless you like cute sheep
josh: best without pseudo-country voice
kim l: in her best state this time
kim c: best at looking good
trenyce: best figure, not necessrarily best dressing though
clay: best range. he's the only one who REALLY does have range

know what? no offence, but in fact i can hardly remember what song ruben had sung after he finished performing (with exception to a whole new world, i know that one inside out). when he sings, i like the feel and sound of it. there's a good and high atmosphere, and people want to get up and sway/ dance/ sing to it... but there'e all that's for me... i just want to be feeling it, that's all. when clay sings, i want to just quietly sit down and listen to him sing, and appreciate the song. i dunno... but then, maybe the former is the proper definition of an american idol. getting people high, on their feet, happy, warm... hmm, i'm beginning to appreciate the "broadway-ness" of clay's style, haha, the kind i like to simply listen to and appreciate. haha! nevermind... i still like ruben a lot, what a cute teddybear! i'll be glad if he wins the competition, on one condition - clay's second. and josh is gone. that'll be a happy ending. shoo josh, shoo... manipulating your marine status to exploit patriotic people and gain votes when you sing awful... josh did sound good when he sang "i'll be" (although he looked awful when he was singing. and he still does...) but that's where it all ended. i didn't find his motown performance bad, not until i heard ruben singing the same song but differently. tsk tsk. and then he switched to country. AND screwed things up. yuck. bleagh. go away go away!

so sad... i read many reviews on the latest episode of american idol... why is it that people are losing interest in clay? i don't get it... they say that though his performances are generally good, they are not as memorable. ok, then how about a song that every other fellow on the street can sing? of course you'll remember a song if you knew that song in the first place. the things is we've never heard the song before but it still sounds great. i like that... still... i agree that he's got this tendency to choose the same kind of songs--ballads. but is there anything seriously wrong with that? it is not a good thing, but it's not a sin... sure he ought to try other songs to show his versatility (that is, if he has it... no point doing them if he's gonna screw it up) he did well for "can't help myself", it was different from the other songs he sang, so i really believe that he should be able to do it... dunno, hope he can give us some surprises. "at this moment" was an improvement in terms of style, though the song wasn't all that catchy. still i wonder, isn't this the way things are supposed to be? you can sing a not-nice song so well that the whole performance shines. and that you are consistent and never give a single disappointing performance. and most importantly, to sing a song in way such that it sounds better and better every single time people here it. like wine... ok, sidetrack. anyway, i think if he releases a CD i'll definitely get a copy. worth the buy, since it sounds better and better as i listen to it, won't get sick of it... whatever, i hope he's got some new style coming up. can he change his clothes for once? quit that shirt and pants... get a sweater or jersey or whatever,,, i mean nothing stupid like hats and corny accessories... and even though many like him in specs i don't think simon is ever gonna let him get away with it if he puts on his specs again for the performance... well well, we'll see!

CLAY!!!
i think i can listen to him all day! i think he sounds better and better the longer i listen to him... first time i watched "sugar pie honey bunch" it was good, as i watch it over and over again it simply gets better and better! no wonder they say the first time they heard the long note in everlasting love they didn't like it, but on hearing it again and again they actually start enjoying it more and more... at this moment was nice too, he managed to incorporate some actions when he was singing. and... oh yeah... they were good... no wonder simon declared it as PERFECT... the song didn't sound all that great the fist time round, but the more i listen to it the more i like it... aw... clay == perfect!
uugghh... can somebody kick josh outta the show? i'm totally irked by his mere presence on american idol... all that "marine" nonsense... i think he sang totally OUT on the billboard week. amazed is a nice song, i had no idea it could sound so bad. with compliments from josh. hamster says it sounded good, at least she thought it was josh's best perfromance so far. but--what? is it just me? i really found it on the wrong pitch! it was like, flat for a whole 10seconds. my goodness... am i simply prejudiced against him? but i liked the song, how could it have sounded so bad then? aarrgghh... gotta wait till shack gives a proper recap on this episode, see what shack thinks. it's interesting...
i love trenyce. oh. i like her more and more... i think she's got what it takes to be a diva. wow... but, uh huh, she's winking a little too often for my comfort. i like her nevertheless...
teddy bear teddy bear! i like it when teddy bear sings! ruben is SMOOTH! he's got such a "velvet"-y voice! aw... but i'm no super duper big fan to go ruuuuuben. i just like ruben. yup, just appreciate his voice and his round face and overall teddy bear look. yep, i think ruben's a real nice guy too. hee! clay is so funny, attempt to irritate ruben, "919 beats 205". ha! the fact that he dare to write down something as stupid as that simply shows that he's on good terms with ruben, so he's not scared of offending him or anything. and yes, the fact that clay and carmen keep pretending to be in love simply shows how "true" this whole thing is... i still think carmen's real cute. anyway, i think clay and carmen look great as a couple (ignoring their age gap). better than with kim c. she looks too big for clay. carmen's small and cute, goes better with clay since he's so skinny... kim c looks better pairing up with josh. around the same size. sorry kim c...

managed to download the clips of clay's performance (everlasting love) on disco night. watched it several times... well, it's a good performance, really, that last note was simply remarkable. but either he was too loud, or the background music was too soft, cos the note didn't really blend into the song. hmm... why was randy so high? even i'm not that high, taking into account that i am his fan and simply adore him... another thing is he hardly moved during that song, unless you consider that little bit of shaking (his shoulder and head only, tsk tsk) when the song changed tempo. yep, and he didn't move and inch during that last note. aahhh.... what is he thinking man... hope he can, like how some people are putting it, move out of his comfort zone and try to venture into other genres, stick to the theme and give a different kind of perfromance to impress everybody ESPECIALLY SIMON COWELL... he's got such a beautiful amazing voice i'm sure he can do some variation with it right... hai... and looking back, trenyce's performance really wasn't all that high. if only she let her voice run the natural way, i'm quite sure she can hit those high notes. maybe she wasn't confident for that, so she was controlling her voice when she had to sing higher notes. hmm, maybe that's also part of the reason why she ended up in the bottom two (i still can't face that!)... i still think carmen did quite well and i like her more and more. hee! hope clay can do even better!!! ok!... had my dosage of american idol tonight. it was disco theme. i thought it was gonna be fun. it thought it would be high. but none of that... disco theme was a flop. and a big one too... the corey's interview part wasn't esp interesting, not when i've read all sorts of juicy news on the internet... they got a funny looking celebrity judge tonight. ok, nothing against him, but i don't even know him.. anyway, he was quite a judge... he gave quite some good comments, i liked the things he said... but so far my fave celebrity judge is still gladys knight! she was great... ok, back to the topic. rickey sounded great, it was high! it was extremely amusing... the alfro looked awful, yes awful, but very cute! haha, so funny... carmen sounded so much better than she ever had. i liked the way she sounded man... it was fast, it was high. kim c didn't do too well. as a matter of fact, i wasn't even impressed at all. bad song, bad performance... clay!!! CLAY!!! i love clay... he's my favourite guy on the show. of course i appreciate ruben too... well, clay, as usual, didn't really fit into this kind of theme. not very high in the disco sense, but still sounded perfect, like every other week! well, wonder if he can have anymore breakthroughs, or revolutionary performances, sorta... trenyce sounded good! she didn't look affected by the smoking gun thingy, but apparently the viewers were... she ended up in the bottom three i have NO IDEA WHY... like i said ruben was great... i love it when he sings, it's always high! kim l sounded awful in the beginning... i think the problem with her is that although she has a good voice, she doesn't have that kind of confidence while she's singing. and she's not always consistent. somehow i feel like she's always cast in frenchie's shadow... yep, ever since that "band of gold" performance... alright! let's get to the worst of the lot! josh! i have no idea why on earth he sounded so bad! wow! it's amazing! wonder if anything can be more surprising than that? him staying on the show! not even in bottom three! isn't that amazing?! i'm so disgusted... hai... anyway, all just a big scare... nobody's eliminated (unless you want to count corey) this week. ok, hope next week will be better...

hai... though i was expecting him to get eliminated pretty soon too, but then he's getting kicked out first. check this out:
Fox yanked Clark after learning from Web site the Smoking Gun that he is due in court this month for allegedly assaulting his teenage sister and then resisting arrest....... "Corey withheld information about a prior arrest which, had it been known, might have affected his participation in the show," Fox said, adding that "the producers and network feel that Corey's behavior warrants his disqualification."
yup, i think so too... we can't have this kind of people as idol... but still feeling a bit of a pity, he sings well. uhm, sometimes...
NEVERMIND!!! as long as clay's there! hahaha... tomorrow's thursday again! yeah... it's gonna be disco theme, wonder how will clay do... ruben definitely no problem, he can handle any kind of genre (i think). trenyce should be fine too, she suited for that kind of powerful loud songs. though i dunno if she'll be affected by the theft thingy... nevermind! i'll be able to see everything tomorrow!

yup, still in the obsession...
anyway, i'm still trying hard to get more people to watch AI2... especially to watch clay! sent fish a clip of clay yesterday, haha, she said he sounded good! dunno if she really found it nice, or she just don't dare to disappoint me... nevermind, cos anyway she asked me when they show american idol. THURSDAY NIGHT 8PM AND 10PM! hahaha... ok ok , time for breakfast, cannot talk anymore... maybe tonight... then i can continue slobbering! huahuahuahuahhahahahaa...
