a student died in the school pool. i was at src canteen for lunch and there was some commotion. apparently they were trying to resuscitate this student. but they failed to revive him even after i had finished the meal. ambulance came and brought him to nuh. i had no idea about his fate. until today. zl told me that src sent an email, circulate to the nus staff. told them an accident happened at src and a student died. didn't say he drowned. didn't say how it happened. didn't inform the rest of the student population. i think they might be trying to cover it up. is no one investigating why someone would die at a place with so many life guards? is no one warning other students to be careful in the pool? are there no reminders to behanve responsibly in a pool? by that i have no intention of implying that the victim did not behanve responsibly. but the school admin is really irresponsible to not inform the students. should they not give an answer to those who saw it? should they not acknowledge it to the victim's family? should i do something about it? posted by Yee 2:26 PM . . .
