Taking your measure
ARE you overweight? That can be determined by calculating your body mass index (BMI).
First find out your weight in kilograms, for example 55kg
Then your height in metres, for example 1.65m
Next, square your height, for example 1.65m x 1.65m
Then, divide your weight by the squared value of your height, for example 55kg divided by 1.65m x 1.65m
Underweight: less than 18.5
Normal BMI range for Asians: 18.5 - 22.9
Overweight: more than or equal to 23 Obese: above 27
