yesterday's american idol was such a big hoo haa. LATOYA'S GONE!!! hooray... hee... but. i still don't like jasmine. i mean, i'm glad latoya's gone, cos i don't want her to win the competition and i don't like her. but at least she can sing in tune. unlike jasmine... she's staying too long. not unlike josh though. clay was on the results show!!! isn't he just... haha. it's so obvious the difference in standard between the two seasons. he did "fantasy" by earth, wind and fire with the 4 finalists. it was good! hee hee... he was wearing specs! love them! some say that he he's back with the glasses to show simon that he can still be his old geeky self with specs and have all the women swooning anyway. but i'm steered more towards the other saying. that in vegas he had been in contact with too much light and smoke, so he's taking off the contacts for a break, hence the specs. haha, they're so creative... he's gotten so much better... exuding confidence, and not standing stiff and uncomfortable like he did on HIS disco night when he performed (or absence thereof) everlasting love. but his performance was still a hundred million times over better than jasmine's. she was so bad that i had to watch the clip of clay's everlasting love performance to override my memory of her horrendous rendition. :shudder: anyway, they first announced diana was safe, and sugarpie and i were already jumping up and down with joy. we like her a lot... she's so cute, and she's good. mommy likes her too, she finds her cute too... after clay's performance, they announced fantasia was in the bottom two. not good. not happy. but at least diana's safe for sure. i'm happy enough with that. i just didn't like the idea that latoya would be safe while fantasia is in the bottom two. of course, i was expecting jasmine to be in bottom two, just like everyone else did. they went to ask clay about his response. after a break and more fillers, they announced latoya was in the bottom two instead of jasmine. even more unhappy. one, bcs jasmine was undeservedly safe. two, bcs i was sure if fantasia is pit against latoya (even in the bottom two), fantasia would be sure to lose out. but i was greeted with the best news (out of a not very good situation) anyway! latoya's going home! no need to see the judges sucking up to her and showering her with unnecessary praises and worship. i was so thrilled i was actually jumping throughout the house and shouting the announcement to everyone who could hear me, since i was so noisy. nevertheless... latoya didn't deserve to go. jasmine really should have gone. she was too caught up with her relief that she's safe that she was actually jumping with joy, totally ignorant that latoya beside her is in the bottom two. i think she realized that later, but she was still smiling and blowing kisses and mouthing thank you. that was just so sick to have to look at. i can comprehend your joy, but can you not blow kisses and mouth thank you when nobody is even cheering for you besides your dad rudy? that's not totally acceptable yet, even considering the fact that you're only 16. sigh... i can't wait to see what shack has got to write about this episode. i hope jasmine goes by next week. she shouldn't be staying any longer. it's not good for her either. i don't think i want to see things get any more brutal than it already was for john stevens... by the way, good luck diana and fantasia. i like both of you, i think i won't be able to ask for anything more than the two of you in the finals. =) posted by Yee 2:56 PM . . .
